The Academics team functions in many different ways to impact the academic experience in Social Science. The Academics team prioritizes advocacy through the Western Senate and for each and every department with our department representatives. The Vice President Academics is tasked with educational policy to the Dean and Undergraduate Dean. This year our VP Academics, Helen, is prioritizing a greater access to career and professional development opportunities for students, greater social connections within programs and greater support within academics for all Social Science students.
